What’s included in this resource

This GCSE Dance scheme of work combines practical and theory lessons to develop choreography skills and understanding of Shadows by Christopher Bruce. Students will create unique motifs, learn choreography, and ultimately produce a group dance while analysing movement and production elements like costume and music, all in preparation for sections A, B and C of the written exam. Lesson presentations, practical journals, and theory workbooks with SEND support are included, along with comprehensive answers. Practical lessons feature creative tasks, retrieval quizzes, keywords, and warm-up videos. Theory lessons build exam technique with example responses, knowledge tests, and long-answer question tests with mark schemes. Our files come in 2 different sets of formats.

You will receive a zip file for Microsoft Office files (MS Word and MS Powerpoint). Please note that the Google Form quizzes are incompatible with Microsoft related products.

You will also receive a link to a shared google drive folder which will allow you to copy files to your own google drive folder allowing you to assign these using the Google Classroom. Full instructions on these are included within the download links.
